Lovely colour, bright pale straw, very slight, like really slight pink tinge. The nose is perfumed citrus, orange blossom springs to mind, maybe a little musk and hints of red fruit. On the palate the wine is lively and fresh, a balanced creamy mouth feel with a crisp finish. Not as bready or toasty as a typical French champagne; more lively and zesty. Perfect aperitif. The significant increase in the Pinot Noir component adds that little extra.
